Terms of Use / Distance Contract
General provisions
This distance contract is concluded between Kardens.lv, maintained by an economic operator (self-employed), registered in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Latvia (hereinafter – the Seller), and the person placing an order on the website www.kardens.lv (hereinafter – the Buyer).
By placing an order, the Buyer confirms that they have read and agree to these terms.
Ordering goods
The Seller offers physical car parts intended for BMW vehicles and sold as installation kits.
Product descriptions, prices and availability are indicated in the online shop.
The Seller has the right to refuse an order if the product is not available or inaccurate information has been provided.
Prices and payments
All prices are stated in euros (EUR).
Delivery costs are calculated before payment and are borne by the Buyer.
Payment is made using the payment solutions available in the online shop or based on an electronic invoice prepared by the Seller.
The electronic invoice is valid without a signature.
Delivery
Delivery is provided using courier services (Omniva, DPD, Latvijas Pasts).
Estimated delivery time:
- Latvia: 1–3 business days
- Europe: 5–10 business days
Shipments are dispatched within 1–3 business days after receipt of payment. If the product is not available within the stated time, the delivery term is agreed with the Buyer individually.
Right of withdrawal
The Buyer has the right to withdraw from the purchase within 14 calendar days from the day the product is received, in accordance with the Consumer Rights Protection Law.
To exercise the right of withdrawal, the Buyer must notify the Seller in writing (by e-mail).
The product must be returned within 7 days after sending the withdrawal notice.
Return shipping costs are borne by the Buyer.
The right of withdrawal does not apply to goods that are manufactured or assembled according to the Buyer’s individual order.
Money is refunded within 5–10 business days after the product is received and inspected.
Condition of the goods and liability
The Buyer is responsible for maintaining the quality and safety of the product while exercising the right of withdrawal.
The Seller has the right to refuse a refund or reduce the refundable amount if the product is damaged, used improperly, or returned without the original packaging.
Personal data processing
The Buyer’s personal data are processed in accordance with the Privacy Policy and the applicable laws and regulations of the Republic of Latvia and the European Union.
Personal data are used only for order processing, delivery, accounting records, and fulfillment of legal obligations.
Final provisions
The Seller has the right to make changes to these terms at any time. Changes take effect after they are published on www.kardens.lv.
